SUMMARY

Working with a team, help maintain a clean working environment for all staff & visitors to U.S. Bank Stadium.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize and operate all cleaning equipment necessary to maintain cleanliness in the facility
  • Periodically lead a crew of part time employees for events or special projects
  • Clean, monitor, and restock restrooms.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors (shampoo/scrub and extract as necessary)
  • Clean all soft and hard surfaces per manufacturer instructions/recommendations
  • Empty and run trash / recycling materials and sorting the different waste streams
  • Maintain outside walking areas including sweeping debris and shoveling snow.
  • Clean & polish fixtures.
  • Occasionally assist in setting up or striking tables, chairs and other items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Ability to work all shifts as necessary including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays
  • Be able to work independently as well as with and sometimes leading a crew of part time employees
  • Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others while working

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers – both riding and walk behind versions, carpet extractors, chemicals, etc.

Summary

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Guest Experience Lead for SMG/U.S. Bank Stadium. Responsible for overseeing a specified number of Guest Experience Representatives with different skilled positions located throughout the stadium.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead a team of over ten (10) Guest Experience Representatives in an area located in or outside of the stadium.
  • Brief team members prior to going on post at every event ensuring that each team member is knowledgeable about event activities and prepared for the duties of his/her post.
  • Prepare event day paperwork including team member assessments and post incident reports.
  • Work both cooperatively with Management and independently to resolve any team member or patron-related issues.
  • Understand the scope of the Reward & Recognition program to ensure that team members demonstrating “Above & Beyond” service are properly acknowledged.
  • Coach team members on Guest Experience Program policies as needed.
  • Meet and greet all guests entering U.S. Bank Stadium, check for valid tickets when necessary.
  • Be personal and pro-active in providing assistance to all guests with the highest level of customer service and hospitality.
  • Assist guests by providing accurate directions to seating section and key attractions within U.S. Bank Stadium and surrounding areas i.e. Plazas, Park, Light Rail.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationship with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Responsible for working in a variety of areas including elevators, stairwells, aisles and in premium clubs.
  • Retain an extensive knowledge of U.S. Bank Stadium layout, seating Sections, key venue attractions, key venue personnel identity, and emergency activity procedures.
  • Enforce stadium and league rules, regulations and policies.
  • Provide immediate assistance to and emergency notification of guests in the event of an accident or injury.
  • In the event of an emergency, assist in evacuating U.S. Bank Stadium, while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Monitor all public areas to maintain order and safety.
  • Perform daily safety and security checks within assigned area as well as throughout the stadium; report all substandard or inadequate findings to Management.
  • Cohesively work in conjunction with other departments, including Minneapolis Police Department, security, food service, box office, retail, parking, custodial/housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Perform additional functions and activities as directed by the Manager, Guest Experience.

Summary

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Ticket Seller for SMG/U.S. Bank Stadium. Ticket Sellers work U.S. Bank Stadium events (does not include Vikings games and 2019 Final Four games).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately sells tickets as requested by patrons; accepts payment and makes change accurately.
  • Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets or accesses computer for count of computer printed tickets.
  • Completes daily ticket sales report. Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Box Office Coordinator or manager for audit.
  • Fills sales requests for tickets by telephone or mail, handles Will-Call window according to procedures, or other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, able to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance. 
  • Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating and events. Gives information concerning coming attractions.
  • Files various records and reports. Performs related clerical work as assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

The Tour Guide Representative role is to effectively assist the Tour Program at U.S. Bank Stadium with customer service roles, including but not limited to ticket taking, tour facilitation, and tour guest supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and greet all guests entering U.S. Bank Stadium, check for valid tickets when necessary.

  • Check tickets of guests arriving at the beginning of their tours
  • Follow and assist on tours of U.S. Bank Stadium to public and private tour guests daily, making sure that all tour groups stay together.

SUMMARY

This individual is responsible for delivering a service of the highest standard and is administered daily through each tour given. Tour Guide Specialists will effectively assist the Tour Program at U.S. Bank Stadium in a front-of-house management role, including but not limited to day-of-ticket logistics, tour operations, staff scheduling and supervising tour guides. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Report daily to Tour Coordinator.
  • Daily set up for Tour Operations including; route walkthroughs, set up signage, check all equipment, report any physical facility issues and other duties as they may occur.
  • Ensure all Tour Guides are in proper uniform and are equipped with necessary tools to perform their jobs.
  • Meet and greet all guests entering U.S. Bank Stadium, check for valid tickets when necessary.
  • Be personal and pro-active in providing assistance to all guests with the highest level of customer service and hospitality.
  • Assist the Tour Program team with day-to-day front of house tasks including logistics for private tours, potential route changes due to special events, monitoring and supervising staff.
  • Follow and assist on tours of U.S. Bank Stadium to public and private tour guests daily, making sure that all tour groups stay together.
  • Assist with creating and delivering training
  • Assist with creating and delivery tour analytics and reporting
  • Track and report Group Tour logistics and sales
  • Ensure Event Tours run smoothly by ensuring proper set up of signage, cleanliness of routes and other duties as necessary
  • In the event of an emergency, assist in evacuating U.S. Bank Stadium, while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Monitor all public areas to maintain order and safety.
  • Work with fellow team members to keep the tour on schedule and in the correct routes.
  • Complete the daily reports promptly and with precision to be presented to the Tour Coordinator.
  • Maintain a professional image and pleasant demeanor at all times
  • Perform additional functions and activities as directed by the Tour Coordinator.

SUMMARY

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Ticket Office Manager for SMG/U.S. Bank Stadium. The Ticket Office Manager oversees day-to-day ticket sales and all aspects of the ticket office operations for the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee the internal control of daily operations as outlined in the SMG Box Office Manual.
  • Coordinate all event information between the promoter, facility personnel and the ticket company in a timely manner.
  • Build and modify all computer ticket events and issue computer access codes to facility management.
  • Monitor daily ticket sales for all upcoming events and communicates information to the Directors and promoter representative.
  • Establish files on each event that consist of seats on-hold for the building and promoter, complimentary ticket, event audits and ticket inventory schedules.
  • Maintain communication with Ticketmaster representatives for updates and/or revisions in the computer operations.
  • Coordinate the house scale for all ticket events.
  • Maintain security of cash bank and accurate inventory of all tickets distributed and available for sale.
  • Account for cash bank and receipts (cash and credit card) from ticket sales.
  • Prepare and present the final box office statement for settlement for each event.
  • Create and produce all box office sales reports. Account for ticket sales for each event and provide accounting with reconciled daily activity reports.
  • Respond to customer complaints and service requests to maintain a positive rapport with the ticket buying public.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings.
  • Attend all pre-event production meetings and post event de-briefs.
  • Develop and maintain a positive harmonious working relationship with all the other departments.
  • Work all Vikings games in a capacity determined by AGM – Sales, Marketing and Administration.
  • Responsible for overseeing floor set for concerts: being present when floor is marked, checking floor set for accuracy.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Understand all aspects of box office operations. Possess a working knowledge of computer ticketing systems and the ability to update, integrate and implement procedure in response to state-of-the-art changes.
  • Comprehend and use bookkeeping principles and standard accounting practices.
  • Apply principles of organization, supervision, training, personnel development, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Recognize and solve problems rapidly and effectively while handling a large volume of tickets and cash in a fast-paced environment.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate standard office equipment including copier, scanner, and fax machine.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in the public assembly industry in a supervisory or management position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ticketmaster experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Ticket Office Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; scheduling; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Operate computerized ticketing system.
  • Operate event booking/scheduling software.
  • Operate a personal computer using Windows, Office, and other standard office equipment.
  • Must have strong computer skills, Excel, and Word.
