The U.S. Bank Stadium
The U.S. Bank Stadium will not be just a location, but an epicenter of excitement, opportunity, and Minnesota pride. The Vikings are an important part of our proud heritage and the relationship between the Vikings and the citizens of Minnesota runs deep. But the stadium is not just the home of the Minnesota Vikings, it’s a facility that will host major national and international events that create economical, fiscal and social benefits to the region. Two major events have already been announced, Super Bowl LII (February 4, 2018) and the NCAA Final Four in 2019.
The new stadium is also a significant piece of the overall revitalization of downtown east Minneapolis. Adjacent to the stadium will be a $400-million development including office, retail and residential space, as well as a new two-block community park that will offer an unprecedented pre-game experience on Vikings game days. The U.S. Bank Stadium is also a powerful economic engine, bringing in 7,500 construction jobs with nearly 4.3 million work hours and over 3,400 ongoing full- and part-time jobs related to the operation of the new facility.
